Al Gore

From Campaigns Wikia

Al Gore, Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr., was Vice President for 8 years during Bill Clinton's presidency. He ran for the US Presidency in the 2000 campaign. In that election, he won the plurality of the popular vote, but lost the representative vote in the Electoral College. After the loss, he retired from the public eye for a while, but has recently been in the news again with his writing and the documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, based on a series of lectures on global warming that he has been giving.

While he is not currently running for any office, Mr. Gore is an influential figure, and some people have suggested that he might be a candidate in the 2008 US Presidential election.
