A Campaigns Wikia collaboration is a community incentive to develop a specific article to a higher quality standard. The Collaboration of the Week is an article or small set of articles upon which editors can focus their editing to improve the article(s) greatly. Editors can nominate something, and, if other editors reach a consensus and agree, it will become the Collaboration. The collaboration week will start on a Monday, and that day will also open approval voting for the next week.
The current collaboration article will have a template, encouraging users to help. Also, the article will have a link on the main page (or somewhere with high traffic, such as the site notice), to increase the article's visibility.
The goal of the collaboration will be to reach a highly informative article in a short amount of time. Good candidates for collaboration articles are the pages of upcoming elections.
A key strategy for getting our site known is to be on the vanguard of current elections and news in the political arena. Potential users are searching for upcoming and recent elections, and they'll click on the site that has the events, the results and the news.
Let's try to make some high quality election articles, especially with upcoming presidential elections like The Gambia, Yemen, Zambia and Brazil.
