Ok, maybe my example was too simple, but I'm not sure about merging candidates and elections like this. With mine, it's easy to break it down into components. This one is harder to remember. Is there any way we can find a compromise? Chadlupkes 18:05, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
I don't think it's that complicated, and as a federal office elected in a singe state, this example is more complicated than most. For what it would look like with a more typical election, just cut off everything that contains "Texas". Other than the addition of the United States elections/candidates level, it's the same as your example, except that the candidates are subcats of their elections rather than of their locations. --whosawhatsis? 19:53, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
