This is a list of books on politics and the future of politics that we recommend. These books expand the debate, and allow us to step back and really understand our situation, both within individual nations and on a global level. Please feel free to add books that you think people should read to this list. We'll figure out how to sort it later, by categories of our own design. Please sign your recommendations!
- The Great Turning by David Korten, recommended by Chadlupkes
- The Imperial Presidency by Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. recommended by Jfingers88
- "A History of National Socialism" and "Der Fuehrer" by Konrad Heiden - submitted by WSBingham
- These books outline exactly what is happening today - only as they happened in Nazi Germany. Politics today from the right parallel what happened in Germany with the rise of Hitler. The parallels to today are simply astounding -WSB
- It is important to read about the Holocaust, but if you really think these books "outline exactly what is happening today", you are greatly mistaken. In Nazi Germany millions of innocent people were kept undernourished, used as slaves, and executed in gas chambers. The parallels to today are not "simply astounding". If they were, you would have been executed for posting that. Think. Lou franklin 00:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
