Forum talk:The Soapbox

From Campaigns Wikia

Please pardon the newbie question. I thought I had read somewhere that these forums were "threaded." What I've seen so far looks like a flat or linear format. Am I missing something? --Artie 23:13, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Technically, it's not a forum at all, but a wiki being used as one. By placing a colon (:) at the beginning of a paragraph, you can indent it to show that it is a response to the previous. Additional colons will further indent the paragraph, allowing it to be made a response to a response. This is not technically "threading", but simulates what some systems refer to as "nesting". --Whosawhatsis 00:08, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
