Iran is a country in the Middle East with a population of more than 65 million wonderful people. Iran is important on the world stage because it produces a lot of oil. Iran is run by a bunch of religious fanatics, who are bent of the destruction of Israel and who are hopelessly anti-Semitic. Iran has sophisticated nuclear facilities and capabilities. Its leaders swear up and down that it intends to use its nuclear facilities for peaceful purpose only, but everyone knows they are making nuclear weaponry. Thus Iran, under its current leadership, is a pariah on the world stage. Iran also supplies and trains fanatics who attack, kill and maim U.S. soldiers in Iraq.--chiefbroom8 21:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for signing your statement! I don't agree with you, but I'm certainly going to respect and defend your right to say it. What I don't quite agree with is the level of danger from Iran. I know it's dangerous, but I don't think they are as close to a weapon as you imply. I also believe that they are looking for cheap energy sources, although I'm not quite sure why they're not taking advantage of all the sunshine. Anyway, I think the best way to encourage Iran to move in a peaceful direction is by empowering the people of Iran to make whatever changes are necessary within their own country to make sure that the country is not a threat to anyone else, and also not a threat to themselves. That's what I'm trying to do from within the US, and that's what Campaigns.Wikia is all about. Chadlupkes 21:58, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
