Jennifer M. Granholm is Michigan's 47th governor. Her first term began in 2003, and she was re-elected for her current term which began in 2007.
On Facebook, her interests are listed as "Creating jobs, fighting for access to affordable quality education for Michigan students, cutting government waste and making our state more efficient, fighting back against those that outsource Michigan jobs overseas". One of her favorite movies is An Inconvenient Truth.
Jennifer Granholm was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. (So, she is not eligible for the U.S. presidency.)
She is married to Daniel Granholm Mulhern. Together, they have three children.
Governor Granholm has degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and Harvard Law School.
