My name is Jim Trippon, CPA. I am asking for your help to bring financial accountability and an effective neighborhood voice back to City Hall.
We all know Hunters Creek Village is a great place to live, but it faces important new challenges including the need for:
- Financially Responsible Leadership
- Government That Listens
- And A Plan To Address Rising Crime In Some Neighborhoods
The same old solutions that our city government has used for years to address these problems are no longer working. I believe that a fresh outlook is needed to create and implement new solutions.
That’s why I would like to offer my years of experience as a CPA and forensic accountant (a financial fraud investigator in business litigation cases) to bring a new sense of accountability and responsibility to City Hall.
You deserve better management of our tax dollars at City Hall. Over the past 10 years we have watched our property taxes almost double in Hunters Creek Village. How much lower could our property taxes have been if City Hall had not mismanaged our public works projects and gone millions of dollars over budget?
You deserve a City government that listens and addresses neighborhood concerns when residents speak out. The costly construction fiasco on Pifer Road could have been avoided if our elected officials would have simply listened to the residents of the neighborhood.
You deserve neighborhoods that are safer for our families. Some of our neighborhoods have recently experienced an increase in crime. Let’s keep Hunters Creek safe for our children, safe for our stay-at-home moms and safe for our seniors.
I want to do all of these things and more, but I need your help to make it happen.
I need your vote. I am also asking for your involvement. If you would like to offer a suggestion, host an event, volunteer to help or make a campaign contribution, please feel free to call me at (713) 481-6502 ext 104 or email me at email@example.com.
Together we can put a true neighborhood advocate on City Council in the May 12, 2007 election. I would be happy to appear at one of your neighborhood events so I can share my positive message with you face to face. Together we can make sure Hunters Creek Village stays a City we're proud to live in.
I invite you to explore the rest of my website to learn more about what you and I can do to together make Hunters Creek Village an even better place to live.
Thank you for your help.
