Mark Wilson is an American politician who was a candidate for the U.S. Senate from Washington State in 2004. He ran as a candidate from the Green Party. In 2002, he ran as a Libertarian for the 1st Congressional District. Wilson is challenging incumbent Maria Cantwell in the Democratic primary for the US Senate in 2006.

On May 1st, 2006, Mark Wilson was endorsed for US Senate by the 38th District Democrats in Snohomish County. That endorsement vote was reversed by the district on June 5th.

On July 9th, 2006, Mark ended his bid for the US Senate and endorsed Maria Cantwell.

Mark joined Cantwell's campaign team after she promised to pay him $8,000 a month. His decision to endorse Cantwell effectively ended the option for anti-Iraq war democrats to voice their opinions in the upcoming primary election.

Not quite true. Hong Tran is still in the primary. Mark never had the support of enough people to really build campaign infrastructure. Chadlupkes 04:52, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
