2007 mid-term electionsEdit
Legislative elections and local elections are to be held in the Philippines on May 14, 2007. The 2007 elections requires that the House and Senate races be viewed as two halves of a whole: an opposition win in both houses is a negative referendum on the administration. An administration win in one house means a continuation of the 2004-present status quo. An administration victory in both houses means a positive referendum on the administration.
