Hi, my name is Jason. My primary interest is in education policy, though I have experience with other policy work and campaigns (Democratic).

My education policy background includes:

• Three years as a 5th/6th grade teacher, mostly math, in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas
• Teach for America alumnus
• Masters in Public Policy focused on education - Harvard Kennedy School of Government
• Education Specialist - NASA - 2003-06

I am currently the director of the Coalition for Science After School, though my opinions and actions here on Wikia Campaigns are my own and do not represent my organization.

Other campaign and political experience:

• Intern - Concord Coalition (Deficit reduction, bi-partisan, grassroots org.) - 1994
• Research director for Trotter for Congress (Democratic nominee in TN 7th) - 1996
• Multiple other coordinated campaign activities in 1992, 1996, 2000
