I live in London, UK and work in biological research. My main interest is global transport policy.

I see myself as a political pragmatist. I'm conservative in the sense of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and liberal in the sense of "whatever works best".

I don't pay much attention to ideologies. Rather I try to judge policies based on the following criteria:

• Can the argument be backed by empirical evidence?
• Is the reasoning sound and free from logical fallacies?
• How will the policy improve our lives in practice?
