Robert King
Rob J. King is a scholar, a college instructor (Barry University and University of Phoenix-Online, living in St. Petersburg, Florida), and a political activist, especially regarding Pro-Life, Pro-Christian Political concerns. [[]]

Rob J. King was born in New York City, and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida as the only son of Coast Guard Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8) Robert Lewis King and the third child of Lucille Vasquez King.

Educationally, as an undergraduate, Rob J King was a Stuart Scholar (full tuition) at Davidson College [1], a Duke Scholar (full tuition) at Duke University Divinity School [2], and spent three years studying Ethics and History at the University of Notre Dame in their Ph.D. program[3]. Influential among Rob's intellectual influences are his former professors from Duke University, Stanley Hauerwas [[4]] and Geoffrey Wainwright [[5]] and Pope John Paul II [[6]]. King's philosophical sources include Plato [[7]]; Michel Foucault [[8]] and Alasdair MacIntyre [[9]].

Rob J. King has published extensively, including Christian Church periodicals and extensively on Campaigns Wikia. His articles in Church publications include, "A Liberal's Testimony" [10]; "Why I Left the United Methodist Church" [11] and "Eastern Patristic Spirit-Christology for Contemporary Wesleyan Faith Practice" in the Fall 2003 Volume of The Wesleyan Theological Journal [12]

In April 2007 Rob J. King delivered the Church/State relations paper, "One Nation Under YHWH: A Theological Critique of the 'Under God' Clause" at the American Experiment Religious Freedom Conference, a Conference attended by Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

In the Fall 2008 Rob J. King published the article, "Animals, Vegans, and the "New Religious Right": The Enduring Influence of Wendell Berry." [13]

Rob J. King's many colleagues span the globe including South Africa, Kenya and Latin America. Rob J. King has spent several years studying the recent trend in shifting from a European-rooted Christianity to a more Pentecostal-style "New Christendom" of Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. Religiously, Rob J. King is a Charismatic Catholic, attends a Roman Rite parish and has been influenced by the charism of Opus Dei [14].

Rob J. King is currently teaching, writing and involved with activist work.
