[edit] About Anonymous
I may not always remain anonymous, prefering instead to be Open and Notorious. In the meantime, treat yourself to my demographic styled Bio.
I have been absent from active participation in my political party, but at least I've printed an on-line voter registration form, due in part to this wiki. (Still looking for stamps.)
My interest is proving the logic in rhetoric. I've made my first attempt at blogging, to this purpose. [[1]]
My least favorite word is ones: Defining the plural of one is antithetical.
My least favorite doublespeak word is: proactive. Newton didn't need to struggle with the phrase 'For every proaction there is a subsequent action (which may, or may not do anything) followed by an equal and opposite reaction'.
My favorite quote is from a treatise on writing land title abstract, by Gurdon Wattles: “Concise clarity, without ambiguity”
[edit] Things I've heard at political gatherings
Say what you mean and mean what you say.
In politics you don't worry about what others think of you, because they're only concerned with themselves.
The best way to acquire power is to usurp it, otherwise win your election. - A seemingly inherent methodology in the world of wiki.
All crimes from parking tickets to murder are just degrees of rudeness.
Always vote for yourself. If you can't, then why would you expect a vote from me?
Of course God belongs in a debate. Before I vote, I need to know if you're going to lock me up for my beliefs.
Pet rocks don't have rights, either do animals, and children don't have rights, their parents do.
The conundrum of old men in politics is that they develop a death-grip on power long before they pass.
Always respect the office, even if you find the person holding it despicable.
