Jennifer, I like the concept of the Unity Movement. The questions that occurred to me as I was reading about the goals and mission of the Unity Movement is that it doesn't fully explain the intent of the Unity Movement. I sort of got that the idea is to bring moderates from both parties together, but why not just support moderates in each party? I am not sure you have made a convincing argument as to why a Unity ticket works better than finding moderates to support in the Party that most represents the way one thinks. Because the two parties have much different philosophies of government, I am not sure you can get voters to support one person with one political philosophy AND one with a different political philosophy. --Aminoff 17:19, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Just a note, you could look for user names by going through the history of that page, and fill some in, if you had the incentive and time (bit messy to try to find who exactly added what). --Splarka (talk) 06:46, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I've been thinking I should start twiddling some of that stuff. That would be the "fair" thing to do... But I'm sort of more interested in editing that page in a direction that creates a sense of "knowing who people are" though. Fill in the "big personalities" better, make them shine, give a good example of what other people who want such prominence should do to make themselves better known. Then let the ones who are still around and care about it do it for their own account :-) -JenniferForUnity 06:54, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Just saw your message. Sorry about that. Thanks for the intro and all. I have been snowed under with work and activist/campaign commitments. Will try to engage.
